When it was time to bring in the New Year, there was only one party that Scramble Campbell wanted to paint. String Cheese Incident in 3D! SCI put on a delicious 3 night run at the 1st Bank in Broomfield, Colorado.
Starting on Thursday with a New Years Eve show, the band had something to say and the pace was set. The night was rockin’ and rollin’ and the place was jumpin’. When the New Year set started, the energy was amped up to 11.
Aerialist in LED suits swinging from the rafters, glowing people spinning geometric shapes and jellyfish swarming the floor. A balloon and confetti drop that made us feel like we were in a snow globe that had been shook up, like mad.
It’s quite a feat for Scramble to get the evenings celebration on to his canvas as in unfolds. He was dancing and smiling as the paint was flying and the energy of the evening saturated the canvas. Scramble’s interpritation that night says it all! Shenanigans galore!
